At 905 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Fenwick Island, moving east at 15 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Overfalls Shoal, Fenwick Island, Cape Henlopen, Rehoboth Beach, Bethany Beach, Cape May Point, Buoy 2ms, and Indian River Inlet Bridge. Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes. Cloud to surface lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the open water, stay below deck if possible and keep away from ungrounded metal objects.
