Missouri River at Plattsmouth affecting Cass and Mills Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Missouri River at Brownville. * WHEN...Until late Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, The parking lot and boat ramp south of Highway 136 on the Nebraska side are underwater. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:15 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 34.9 feet...or 0.9 feet above flood stage. - Bankfull stage is 33.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24 hours was 34.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 36.8 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Friday afternoon. - Flood stage is 34.0 feet. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
